De nombreuses influences culturelles se sont alors m\u00eal\u00e9es en \u00c9gypte. En effet, le riz a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit d&rsquo;Asie, les p\u00e2tes d&rsquo;Italie et les lentilles d&rsquo;Inde ou du Moyen-Orient. Les vendeurs de rue combinaient ces ingr\u00e9dients bon march\u00e9 pour cr\u00e9er des repas nourrissants destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la classe ouvri\u00e8re \u00e9gyptienne. Le nom \u00ab&nbsp;koshari&nbsp;\u00bb d\u00e9rive probablement du mot hindi \u00ab&nbsp;khichdi&nbsp;\u00bb, un plat de riz et de lentilles. Au fil de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de la recette, les ingr\u00e9dients de base, \u00e0 savoir le riz, les p\u00e2tes, les lentilles et les oignons frits, sont rest\u00e9s. Au fil du temps, le koshari s&rsquo;est r\u00e9pandu des stands de rue aux restaurants \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est aujourd&rsquo;hui appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 par toutes les couches de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, comme le plat r\u00e9confortant par excellence du pays. Et pour cause, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un plat ULTRA riche en f\u00e9culents, le plus riche que nous ayons gout\u00e9 parmi tous les plats du monde !
