Il faudra n\u00e9anmoins attendre les ann\u00e9es 1930 pour voir ce pain adopter sa forme, son nom et son processus de fabrication; les villes de Mitsugawa et Kobe se disputant la paternit\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A noter qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;origine ce pain double, dont l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur est en fait d&rsquo;une p\u00e2te proche de celle des cookies interrogeant sur de possibles inspirations du Streuselkuchen allemand et des conchas mexicaines, n&rsquo;avait aucun gout de melon mais que le nom a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 la recette et qu&rsquo;on int\u00e8gre d\u00e9sormais un l\u00e9ger arome de melon. On peut \u00e9galement y trouver \u00e0 la place de l&rsquo;ar\u00f4me de banane ou de caf\u00e9 et bon nombre de variations de couleurs. Le melon pan est aujourd&rsquo;hui devenu ultra-connu au Japon et on le distribue \u00e0 tous les coins de rue sous diff\u00e9rentes tailles et conditionnements, notamment sous blister.
